The KMOP Policy Center organized a hybrid international conference entitled “Supporting youth entrepreneurs in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals” on the 25th of October 2023, in Brussels and online.

During the conference, valuable educational resources and practical insights on how young entrepreneurs can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were presented.

Methodologies for assessing the sustainability of youth enterprises were also analysed, and best practices of the SDGs model in youth SMEs were shared at both national and European level. In addition, successful initiatives combining the SDGs and entrepreneurship were highlighted, allowing participants to share and enhance their knowledge in this area.

The conference was part of the EU-funded Stars4SD-Fostering youth entrepreneurship through Sustainable Development Goals project. It aims to support youth entrepreneurship, innovation and active citizenship through the promotion of SDGs in practice.

The project is implemented by KMOP (Greece), Cardet (Cyprus), KMOP Policy Center (Belgium), CESIE (Italy), Amazing Youth (Greece), Südwind (Austria) and FiP Ltd (Ireland).
